Parents graduation
No more teachers
No more books
No more administrators' dirty looks
No more drug tests
No more shrinks
No more hearing what the "expert" thinks
Done with testing
Done with average means
Done with the child study teams
He'll be a man soon
And then they'll see
What was always clear to me
Uniquely special
Gifted and smart
Only the chosen can see into his heart
The parents who never
Let others have a say
Or followed the norm; the easy way
Now watch from the side
While he finishes the mold
And strives to achieve his piece of the gold
